Black Sherif tops 2025 Spotify chart; smashes record on Apple Music Ghana
Ghanaian rapper and singer, Black Sherif, has topped the 2025 Spotify rankings in Ghana.
The singer won the top spots on Spotify’s charts for Most Streamed Artiste of the Year and Top Artiste of the Year.
His album “Iron Boy,” released in 2024, was named the Most Streamed Album of the Year, and his song “Sacrifice,” from the same album, became the Most Streamed Song on Spotify in 2025.
Not only that, but nine of Black Sherif’s songs were among the top ten on Spotify’s Most Streamed songs list.
Black Sherif also dominated other streaming services than just Spotify.
The songs from his “Iron Boy” album entirely dominated the Top Twelve spots on the Apple Music Ghana Top songs of 2025, with “Sacrifice” leading the spot.
This makes him the first Ghanaian artiste to accomplish this.
His accomplishment has led to his fans calling for the TGMA Artiste of the Year to be awarded to the artiste for his remarkable feat. Many fans on social media have also congratulated Black Sgerif for topping this year’s Spotify music chart.
