Black Princesses to begin 2025 with training camp in Bibiani
Black Princesses will open the new year with a training camp in Bibiani, starting January 2, 2025, as part of preparations for upcoming international competitions, including the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The camp will feature two groups of players undergoing assessment. The first group is set to report on January 2, while the second group will join on January 6.
This process is aimed at identifying talent to form the core of the team for the qualifiers.
Newly appointed head coach Charles Sampson will lead the team, following his recent appointment as a replacement for Yusif Basigi.
Basigi has taken up a new role as head coach of Tanzanian side Simba Queens.
This camp marks the beginning of Sampson’s tenure, as he and his technical team work to build a competitive squad capable of excelling in the World Cup qualifiers and beyond.
