Ghana’s U20 Women’s team have received a bye in the preliminary round of the 2020 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The draw for the competition was held in Egypt on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, where 26 teams confirmed their participation.
But the Black Princesses have been given a bye in the preliminary stage.
The 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be the 10th edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, the biennial international women’s youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 2002 as the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship (the age limit was raised from 19 to 20 in 2008).
Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon received a bye to the second round.
