Black Princesses depart Ghana for Columbia today ahead of FIFA U-20 WWC
The Ghanaian Black Princesses will depart for Colombia on August 13 to fine-tune their preparations for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
After weeks of intensive training in Cape Coast and Accra, focusing on tactics, fitness, and team unity, the team is ready for the global tournament.
In their final friendly match, the Black Princesses lost 3-1 to Avenor Stars U15 boys at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to the Ghana FA, the team will travel to Colombia on August 13, ahead of the World Cup, which kicks off on August 31 and runs until September 22.
The Black Princesses will face Austria, Japan, and New Zealand in Group E, seeking to surpass their previous best and advance beyond the group stage for the first time in seven attempts.
