Source The Ghana Report

Unidentified gunmen attacked a local bar at Binduri in the Upper East Region on the evening of Sunday, March 23, and shot six people.

Authorities have confirmed that three of the victims died on the spot, while the remaining three are currently receiving medical care at the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital.

Witnesses reported that the attackers arrived on a motorcycle, burst into the venue, and opened fire on patrons before escaping in a flash.

The reason for the attack is still unknown, but some sources indicate it could be connected to a recent shooting incident in Atuba, a nearby area, where two individuals lost their lives.

This earlier incident is believed to be linked to the ongoing tensions in Bawku.
