Benjamin Asare in the Black Stars is a big plus for Hearts of Oak- Didi Dramani
Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has stated that it is a big plus for the club to have its player Benjamin Asare starring in Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars.
He said this at a presser ahead of Hearts of Oak’s game against city rivals Accra Great Olympics in this year’s Democracy Cup that is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 5 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Hearts’ goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is expected to start in goal for the Black Stars in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification games against Chad and Mali on September 4 and 8, respectively. Didi Dramani believes that having Asare perform at the national team level is a significant advantage for the club.

“We prepared Benjamin [Asare] to the best that we can to have that production to the national team and that’s a big plus for the club” he said.

Asare is one of three goalkeepers who have made the trip with the Black Stars to play Chad in N’Djamena.
