Beef Alert: Abeiku Santana throws subtle jab at Nana Aba Anamoah
Ghanaian media personalities, Nana Aba Anamoah and Abeiku Santana, are verbally boxing over Cardi B and Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha.
Abeiku lashed out at Nana Aba for attacking Despite Media and UTV (a sister station to Okay FM) when they brought Tacha, a housemate at the recently ended Big Brother Naija, who has a Ghanaian ancestry.
Tacha’s visit to Ghana coincides with the ‘Year of Return’ theme which is focused on encouraging all African American and diasporan to return to the continent and Ghana in particular.
Around the same time, American rapper Cardi B was also invited to Ghana and Nigeria to perform at the Livespot X Festival on the December 7-8, 2019.
Cardi B’s stay in Ghana even though short was shrouded in a lot of controversies.
The American rapper was scheduled to engage some Ghanaian celebrities and the media after she landed at the Kotoka International Airport around 1:30 pm but was conspicuously missing in action.
Ghanaian celebrities who had received the invitation from organisers of the event left the venue after waiting in vain for more than six hours.
“Okay so after waiting since 12 noon. @iamcardib’s people say the meet and greet will happen at 8.30 just before she goes to the stadium for the concert. I just hope my ampesi is not cold when I get home. Away bus. Wasted Sunday,” a tweet from blogger Ameyaw Debrah read.
Well, on his show yesterday, Abeiku Santana questioned why Nana Aba Anamoah kept quiet over Cardi B’s snub.
“Why were you insulting Cardi B? What did she do wrong? Was she aware of any appointment?” he quizzed before going in on Nana Aba Anamoah, “…and you, Nana Aba Anamoah, was present. You are loudmouth but failed to speak about the issue.”
“You criticised Tacha’s visit. She is half Ghanaian and was here to learn her culture but you criticised the organisers,”
“The celebrities wore their best dresses, did makeup, nails and wigs, and waited for nine hours just to meet Akosua Cardi B, while she was eating khebab in her hotel room. And you, Nana Aba, the girls’ prefect among them, couldn’t speak for them?” he fired.

However, Nana Aba Anamoah who was unimpressed about his explanation slammed the Okay FM presenter describing his clap back as a “load of trash”.
Nana Aba said, “Did Abeiku really say that I dissed UTV for bringing someone to Ghana? I’ll like to know when and where I did that. @AbeikuSantana did you really say that? Oh anka this TL will be LIT. Kindly confirm if you opened your mouth to spew what these bloggers have been claiming”.
“Asking who Tacha is, is your idea of me dissing UTV? Such a load of trash! You expect me to pretend to know who she is when I clearly don’t? Do you know every single person in this world who appears on TV?”
