Basake Holy Stars in talks to sign former Hearts midfielder
Ghana Premier League newcomers Basake Holy Stars have set sights on securing the services of midfielder Leonard Tawiah ahead of the new season.
The club wants to make a solid debut in the Ghanaian top-flight and has therefore stormed the market searching for quality players to augment their squad before the new season commences.
However, Basake Holy Stars are said to have identified the former Hearts of Oak midfielder as a perfect player to solidify their team next season.
According to reports in the local media, the leadership of Holy Stars has already contacted the players for his services as they look forward to bolstering their midfield.
Tawiah established himself as one of the finest midfielders in the Ghana Premier League during his spell with the Phobians.
He is currently without a club and could secure a move to the newly promoted side if both parties reach a consensus.
