Barreto names Kotoko squad for Medeama game clash
Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Mariano Barreto, has named his squad for their game against Medeama SC today (Saturday, April 24).
The Porcupine Warriors will host the Mauve and Yellow at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the matchday 21 games.
Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama makes a return to the team after missing the Great Olympics game due to suspension.
Midfielders Mudasiru Salifu and Latif Anabila are out of the squad due to suspension and injury, respectively, while Kwame Adom Frimpong makes a return from injury.
Team captain Felix Annan has lost his place in deputizing first-choice goalkeeper Razak Abalora to Kwame Baah.
Meanwhile, Guinean forward Naby Keita Laye, who has been out since picking up a groin injury against Eleven Wonders at Techiman, has been named in the squad for the game.
Asante Kotoko picked up a point in their first meeting at Tarkwa and will be hoping to seal three points and remain top of the 2020/21 GPL standings.
The game has been scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
