Baba Rahman scores as PAOK secure emphatic 4-1 victory

Black Stars defender Baba Rahman was on target as PAOK claimed an emphatic 4-1 win over Panserraikos in the Greek Super League.

Rahman’s goal marked his fourth of the season, adding to the three he had already netted for PAOK.

The match began with an own goal by Jason Davidson in the 4th minute, breaking the deadlock and giving PAOK an early lead.

Kiril Despodov doubled their advantage shortly before halftime, leaving the scoreline at 2-0 by the break.

After the restart, Rahman extended PAOK’s lead with a clinical finish from just outside the box, courtesy of a perfectly weighted pass from Jonny Otto in the 66th minute.

Panserraikos responded through Juan Salazar, who pulled one back in the 76th minute to make it 3-1.

PAOK, however, maintained control and sealed their victory with a late goal from Shola Shoretire, securing an emphatic win and boosting them to third place in the league standings.

Rahman was solid, recording one tackle and one interception in addition to his goal, further showcasing his value to the team.
