Global Info Analytics has forecasted a decisive victory for Baba Jamal in the Ayawaso East by-election scheduled for March 3, 2026.
According to the polls, Baba Jamal is expected to secure the seat with approximately 71% of the votes that will be cast on that day.
Trailing behind Baba Jamal is Baba Ali Yousif from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), followed by Umar Sanda, who has been suspended from the NDC for contesting, with a polling percentage of 2.7%.
The other two candidates in the race, Ibrahim Iddrisu and David Kanor, are projected to receive 0.4% and 0.2% of the votes, respectively.
The necessity for the Ayawaso East By-election arose following the unexpected passing of the Member of Parliament.
