Attram De Visser secure historic semi-final berth in FA Cup after eliminating PAC Academy

Attram De Visser produced a magnificent fightback to beat PAC Academy on penalties and reach their first-ever semi-final in the FA Cup.

The second-tier outfit defeated PAC Academy 4-3 on penalties after Gabriel Matumassey scored in the final minute of regulation time to force the game to penalties.

PAC Academy had opened the scoring halfway into the second half through Evans Sarfo from the spot.

However, Attram De Visser showed resilience as they piled pressure on their opponents in the final moments of the game.

After waves and waves of attack, they earned a corner kick which found the head of Matumassey in the 93rd minute.

Interesting, Attram De Visser’s journey to the semis has seen them eliminate all their opponents on penalties.

The Sowutwom-based club defeated Port City, Okwahu United and Bibiani GoldStars en route to the quarterfinal before adding Pac Academy to their list of victims.
