Three persons who allegedly had in their possession a copy of the voters register during Monday’s local government election are in trouble with the law.

The three are in the clutches of the Asokore Mampong Police after they were picked up at the Galilee Church B polling station in the Sawaba Adenyase Electoral ‘1’ Area.

They are being questioned by the police.

An agent of one of the aspirants told Citi News that the District Police Commander,  DSP Bala Jibrim was on his rounds when he realised “there was a booklet containing the list of voters, two students were holding it.”

“They were just holding it making sure that anybody who comes, they will try to convince the person to vote for their aspirant and that is Alhaji Anyaas.

“They asked them and they couldn’t identify and clarify themselves so whilst they were sending them one man  [who was also arrested] also came saying he gave them that job,” the eyewitness said.
