Report available indicates that former Ghana Premier League Board chairman Ashford Tetteh-Oku has declined to serve as chairman of the Club Licensing Appeals Committee.

The highly-respected football administrator says he will not be “presently available” to serve on the committee due to personal reasons.

He has notified the Ghana Football Association about the decision to humbly turned down the request to head the newly-constituted board.

Tetteh-Oku is one of Ghana’s finest football administrators, who has carved an enviable niche for himself over the years.

He was expected to bring his vast experience and expertise to streamline the Club Licensing regulation but obvious he won’t be available to serve in that capacity.

It’s unclear if vice-chairman of the board Kwaku Ofosu-Asare will be elevated to replace him.

Other members of the committee include retired referee Alex Kotey, journalists Osei Owusu Bempah as well as Yaa Ankamah Annan.
