Asante Kotoko’s outstanding GPL match against King Faisal to be played today
Defending champions Asante Kotoko will host King Faisal in their Ghana Premier League match week 21 outstanding fixture later today.
The local derby between the two teams originally scheduled for Sunday, March 12 was postponed due to the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium for the Black Stars AFCON qualifier against Angola.
The outstanding game will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko will be looking for a win to boost to keep their Ghana Premier League title challenge on course.
However, King Faisal will not be an easy hurdle for the Porcupine Warriors as they also need points to push themselves further on the league log in a quest to escape relegation.
The Porcupine Warriors are 5th on the league table with 38 points whiles King Faisal sit 13th with 31 points after 24 matches each.
