Asante Kotoko to wrap up pre-season at Cape Coast
Asante Kotoko will wrap up their preseason at Cape Coast ahead of the new football season.
The Porcupine Warriors have been preparing for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season at the Adako Jachie training complex.
The playing body together with the technical team will depart Kumasi on Thursday for their game against Medeama SC which will serve as an inauguration for the T&N Park on Friday.
After the game, the team will camp in Cape Coast to prepare for the upcoming season.
While in Cape Coast, Kotoko will engage in two friendly games. The Reds will face fellow Premier League side, Bibiani Gold Stars on Wednesday, August 21 before taking on Division One League side, Hohoe FC on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
Asante Kotoko will return to Kumasi to prepare for their opening game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors will open their campaign with an away game against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges will hope for a smooth season after a challenging campaign last season having finished 6th with 49 points.
The new football season has been slated to kick off on September 6.
