Asante Kotoko is yet to hold contract renewal talks with Abdul Ganiyu – Yussif Chibsah
Chief Executive Officer of Club Consult Africa, Yussif Chibsah has disclosed Asante Kotoko is yet to hold a contract renewal talks with his client, Abdul Ganiyu.
The towering guardsman will be out of contract in October and has been linked with a move away from the Porcupine Warriors.
In an interview with Kumasi based Pure FM, representative of the defender Yussif Chibsah revealed the two-time Africa champions have not contacted the relevant parties to discuss contract renewal.
“Ganiyu is a very respectful and focused player. His contract runs out at the end of October but Kotoko have not contacted the relevant parties to discuss about renewal,”
Ganiyu, who joined Kotoko in 2018 from Karela United has been one of the most outstanding players for the Porcupine Warriors.
He has capped twice for Ghana and is part of Charles Akonnor’s latest Black Stars squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
