Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko have appointed Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum as the head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
The former WAFA head coach agreed on a two year deal with the club.
He replaces Portuguese trainer Mariano Baretto who was relieved of his duties after just six months on his contract following misunderstandings with the management of the club at the end of last season.
Kotoko announced the appointment via their official Twitter handle on Saturday, 18 September 2021.

Coach Ogum led WAFA SC to a third-place finish in the just ended Ghana Premier League, one point behind the Porcupine Warriors.
Prior to becoming WAFA head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum handled the UCC Soccer Team and Premier League clubs such as Elmina Sharks, Ebusua Dwarfs and Karela United.
He is also an Educationist who lectures at the University of Cape Coast.
