Last month a taxi driver was also killed with the same modus operandi.

On November 1, 2022, a decapitated body of a 28-year-old taxi driver Bernard Botwey was found in an uncompleted Senior High School (SHS) at Ajumako Mando in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.

According to reports, the victim who plies from the Ekumfi Esaakyir taxi station to Ajumako had been missing for three days after three men on Saturday, October 29, 2022, boarded his taxi from Ekumfi Esaakyir to Enyan Abaasa, but never returned home.

Subsequently, his family and some colleague drivers reported the incident to the police, but he was not found.

However, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, around 2:00 PM, some residents around the school smelled a strange odour, so they traced and found the deceased’s body without his head and cutlass wounds on the body.
