Ghanaian actor Collins Oteng popularly known as  Komfo Kolege has entreated Ghanaians to always learn to appreciate the living making a great impact in the nation and other parts of the world and not after their demise.

The Kumawood actor was speaking in relation to the tragic demise of Christian Atsu whom as a result of his ‘little mistakes’ during his tenure with the Black Stars team was attacked and rejected for his little offenses.

Komfo Kolege who claims he is very surprised about the manner in which Ghanaians are reacting to the death of the Ghanaian winger said Ghanaians treated Christian Atsu unfairly in his football career.

In a Facebook post, the actor who also lost his legal wife in November 2022 said the death of Christian Atsu has really hurt him although he has lost some family members recently.

He fired Ghanaians for also being hypocritical towards the death of Christian Atsu as they are hailing him and now recounting his greater role for the football fraternity in Ghana.

“Hmmmm I’m speechless. Having lost close family members in different settings I feel so sad about this news. He was at some point in time the best player in the Black Stars and Afcon. With little failing Ghanaians forgot all he did and attacked him. Now we’re all crying.

“Life is really short so let’s appreciate it and especially those who do good things. I’m really sad this morning. Rest well Christian Atsu,” he wrote.

The Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu was among the over 41,000 gone souls as a result of the devastating earthquake that hit southern Turkey and northern Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023.
