Appointments Committee reschedules vetting of Armah-Kofi Buah, three others to today

The Appointments Committee is set to vet the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, along with three regional ministers-designate on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The vetting will begin at 9:00 AM in Committee Room 1&2 of the Administration Building of Parliament.

The vetting process will assess individuals nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to head key ministries and regions.

These evaluations are part of efforts to solidify the leadership team of the President’s administration.

The other nominees to be vetted include:

  1. Tia Ibrahim, Minister-Designate for the North East Region
  2. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
  3. Akamugri Atanga Donatus, Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region

The Appointments Committee has already vetted and secured parliamentary approval for several nominees during earlier sessions.

The upcoming vetting will be instrumental in shaping the leadership structure of President Mahama’s government.

This process marks a critical step in finalising appointments to key ministerial positions, ensuring that the administration is well-equipped to tackle pressing national issues.
