Andre Ayew wins top four awards at Swansea City

Black Stars captain Andre Ayew’s outstanding performance for Swansea in the 2019/20 Championship campaign has earned him four prestigious awards at the Liberty Stadium outfit.

Ayew was adjudged the Swansea City Supporters’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season in the club’s end-of-season awards for the 2019-20 campaign.

The 30-year-old also scooped the top scorer and away player of the season prizes.

Ayew returning from his loan spell at Fenerbahce gave an impressive account of himself in Swansea’s bid to return to the Premier League.

He led the Swans to a semi-final finish in the Championship play-offs where he scored the only goal in the first leg but lost 3-2 on aggregate to Brentford.

He scored 18 goals and providing seven assists in all competitions in the just-ended season.

The 2019/2020 season has been a good year for the two Ayew brothers, as younger brother Jordan, hit double figures in goals for Crystal Palace and was adjudged their best player of the season.

His explosive performance at the just-ended season makes him one of the most sought after players in the championships by some clubs across Europe.

French Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain [PSG] have reportedly expressed interest in signing the Black Stars captain this summer.
