Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Joe Nana Adarkwa nominated for 2023 CAF Women’s Coach of the Year award
Ampem Darkoa Ladies tactician Joe Nana Adarkwa has been nominated for the 2023 CAF Women’s Coach of the Year award.
The experienced trainer has been recognized by the continental football governing body for his outstanding performance in the year under review with the Ghana Women’s Premier League outfit.
Joe Nana Adarkwa guided Ampem Darkoa Ladies to a domestic double, winning both the Women’s Premier League title and the FA Cup respectively. He also led the team to clinch the WAFU B Champions League title to secure qualification to the main tournament in Ivory Coast.
Ampem Darkoa have already secured qualification to the semifinals of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League competition under Joe Nana Adarkwa.
He will be vying for the prestigious award alongside other top coaches like Lovemore Fazili, Reynald Pedros, Randy Waldrums, Mohammed Amine Alioua, Desiree Ellis and others.
The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco.
