The biggest employment expo, spearheaded by the private sector, will offer over 5,000 opportunities for job seekers.

In collaboration with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), participants at The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair are expected to benefit from direct employment, training, entrepreneurship development, and networking opportunities.

Available jobs cut across government institutions, leading private companies, and international organisations.

Many recruiters, entrepreneurs, skills trainers, and talent hunters will be present to employ qualified job seekers on the spot.

Additionally, top officials of Ghana’s security agencies, including the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and the Ghana Police Service, as well as the Ghana Prisons Service and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), have confirmed participation, bringing open recruitments to the doorsteps of prospective citizens.

Participants can also expect to acquire practical training and mentorship through rapid skills acquisition covering areas such as CCTV installation, solar panel installation, fashion design, STEM, and more.

The fair, which aims to tackle unemployment, will provide business incubation platforms and financial support under a 3-tier funding scheme for research projects with a promising outcome.

Renowned business leaders will also deliver talk sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of work.

The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair promises surprise performances and appearances by top musicians and A-list entertainers.

Multiple award-winning dancehall king Stonebwoy, 2022 artiste of the year KiDi, powerful vocalist Efya, Wendy Shay, the energetic Sherifa Gunu, Keche, and many others have promised fireworks.

Other entertainers expected to electrify the audience at the inaugural event are Criss Waddle, Maccasio, and versatile movie actress Nana Ama McBrown, among others.

“This fair provides job seekers a unique opportunity to engage directly with potential employers, showcase their talents, and secure merit-based employment, not connections.

“We are committed to ensuring that all recruitment at the fair is free from ‘protocol recruitment’ practices. I repeat, there is zero tolerance for ‘protocol list’ at this fair,” she noted.
