Alhaji’s Wife Waakye, Ashtown Chek Chek, & others feed multitudes for free at The Ghana Report Jobs Fair

As part of contributions to tackling the unemployment canker plaguing Ghanaian youth, Ghana’s favourite waakye restaurant, Alhaji’s Wife; Ashtown Chek Chek and Kitchen King; provided free food for thousands of participants at The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair.

The expo, ongoing at the Accra International Conference Centre and the Independence Square, started on Thursday, September 19, and will end on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair promises to deliver thousands of life-changing employment opportunities.

Recruitments are ongoing with government representatives, security agencies, business owners, and leading private companies actively seeking competent candidates to fill vacant positions.

Artisans are being empowered with rapid skills acquisition training, covering areas such as CCTV installation, solar panel installation, fashion design, STEM, and more.

Renowned business leaders will also deliver talk sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of work.

The Ghana Report Jobs and Entrepreneurship Fair is taking place in partnership with several institutions, including the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

Alhaji’s Wife, your favourite waakye spot which is noted for the perfect blend of taste and aroma, with branches at Spintex Comm. 18 and East Legan Boundary Road, delighted participants with the most delicious waakye, guinea fowl, and local drinks prepared under strict hygienic conditions.

For fried rice lovers, Ashtown Chek Chek, located in East Legon, did not disappoint, serving job seekers a tasty Oseikrom experience.

Kitchen King was also present with the most delicious kenkey in town.

“All of these people have been very participative and hell-bent on ensuring that issues with unemployment do not continue.

“As much as possible, we cannot absolve the capacity of feeding everyone but they will feed thousands and thousands of jobseekers,” the Chief Executive of The Ghana Report, Rashida Saani, assured.
