The New Patriotic Party(NPP) has asked members to remain calm and wait for an official communication regarding presidential aspirant Alan Kyeremanten’s resignation from the party.
In a statement signed by the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party said it had taken notice of Mr Kyeremanten’s “unfortunate decision”.
“The party leadership is, by this medium, urging the rank and file of our great party to remain calm and await an official address by the party to Mr Kyeremanten’s resignation,” the statement said.
This follows the decision of the former minister to withdraw from the presidential race of the NPP.
