President Akufo-Addo on Saturday, July 18, completed his 14-days self-isolation.
The president went on self-isolation after it was discovered that a member of his inner circles had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, which has infected more than 26,000 in Ghana.
Presidential adviser on Health, Dr. Nsiah Asare, announced the President’s time in isolation was over.
He said all other appointees and ministers who tested positive for the virus have recovered.
He also added that based on experience, cabinet meeting going forward would be held virtually.
“For the first time in history, the president held a virtual cabinet meeting on Tuesday and that is how it will be going forward to avoid further spread of the virus” he said.
