Akufo-Addo Approves Nomination Of 15 Court Of Appeal Judges

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has approved the nominations of 15 new justices to the Court of Appeal.

The approval follows a recommendation by the Judicial Council to the president for their elevation to the bench.

The new Justices will be sworn in by President Akufo-Addo Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

They are Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackah Boafo, Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe, Justice Alex Owusu-Ofori, Justice Emmanuel Ankamah, and Justice Jerome Noble-Nkrumah.

The others are Justice Mrs. Gifty Agyei Addo, Justice Samuel Obeng-Diawuo, Justice Mrs. Hafisata Amaleboba, Justice Jennifer Abena Dadzie, Justice Charles Edward Ekow Baiden, and Justice Stephen Oppong.

Also on the list are Patrick Kwamina Baiden of the Quansah Baiden & Co (Nyimawo Chambers), Christopher Archer a lawyer with the law firm, Archer, Archer & Co (Chambers), Prof. Olivia Anku-Tsede the Legal Counsel at the University of Ghana and an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School and Dr. Ernest Owusu-Dapaah Dean of the KNUST Faculty of Law.
