Agradaa finally reunites with family after 8 months in prison

Former fetish priestess, now an evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has officially been released from the Nsawam Prison after completing eight months in detention.

She has since been reunited with her husband and family. Her husband, Asiamah, confirmed her return home in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, stating, “Thank God my wife is finally home”.

Nana Agradaa is also anticipated to join members of her church later in the day for fellowship, marking her first public appearance since regaining her freedom.

She was originally sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on July 3, 2025, after being found guilty of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement.

However, her legal team contested the ruling, asserting that the sentence was excessive.

Upon review, the Amasaman High Court reduced the term to 12 calendar months, describing the original punishment as harsh.

Her official release follows Ghana’s standard remission rules after she served two-thirds of the revised sentence.
