‘Afena Gyan Should Be Going To World Cup’-Fans On Social Media Insist
Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, Today, November 14, named his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
As usual in any final team squad for any tournament, there were inclusions and exclusions that calls for debate with Otto Addo’s final team squad not any different.
According to the GFA President, Kurt Okraku, the discussions on who should have made it to the World Cup must stop now after the announcement of the squad.
But social media users insists the Cremonese winger deserves a chance in the Ghana squad.
I think Ghana Black Stars are not being Fair to Afena Gyan. Man came to represent his country even when no player wanted to come. Ignored Mourinho only for ghana to deny him a dream.

In the local scene, there is a place in the squad for Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad and Hearts of Oak talisman, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Goalkeepers, Joseph Wollacott and Richard Ofori miss out because of injury.
Thereβs no place in the squad as well for Joseph Paintsil, Majeed Ashimeru, Mubarak Wakaso and Jeffrey Schlupp.
Ghana will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
