Gabon captain Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng is hoping to play in their second Group C clash against Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night after recovering from Covid-19.
Earlier, the Arsenal star was forced to isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 upon arriving in Cameroon, causing him to miss the team’s opening match against Comoros Island.
However, reports say the 32-year-old trained with the team on Wednesday, and the striker also confirmed his availability via a post on his Instagram story.

The Panthers managed a 1-0 victory over debutants Comoros in that match, and his return further strengthens the team as they are set to play a Ghanaian side desperate for a win to restore the hope of making it to the next stage of the competition.
The Black Stars were beaten by Morocco 1-0 in the Group C opener and will need maximum points when the two meet on Friday.
The final group matches will be played on Tuesday, with Gabon coming up against Morocco while Ghana will play Comoros Island.
