On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Accra Hearts of Oak announced the transfer of Saani Mohammed to Danish club AC Horsens via an official statement on their X (formerly Twitter) page.
Mohammed, who joined Hearts of Oak in August from Soccer4Souls, will be with the Danish team for two and a half years.
The transfer fee is reportedly 250,000 Euros. During the first half of the 2024-2025 season, Saani Mohammed made a significant impact for The Phobians, contributing two assists in 13 Ghana Premier League matches.
At the time of his transfer, Hearts of Oak were preparing to face reigning league champions FC Samartex on Sunday, January 19, in Samreboi, as they approached the end of the first round of the campaign.
Hearts currently rank fifth in the league.
The 18-year-old left-footed midfielder joins Horsens, who are currently fourth in the 12-team Danish first-division standings with 31 points, achieving nine wins, four draws, and five losses.
