Accra Great Olympics, a top Ghanaian football club, has made a bold move by disbanding its management and technical teams.
This drastic move comes on the heels of an emergency Board of Directors meeting held on July 4th, following a challenging season in the Ghana Premier League.
The club, affectionately known as the ‘Dade Boys’, struggled throughout the 2023/24 season, culminating in their relegation to the Division One League. With a tally of 44 points, they secured a disappointing 16th place finish in the league standings.
In the interim, a sub-committee has been established to oversee the club’s operations. The sub-committee will be led by Mr. Kwame Asuah Takyi, with Kudjoe Fianoo and Oloboi Commodore also appointed to key roles.
The club has assured its supporters that a new management and technical team will be assembled in due course.
This restructuring aims to revitalize the club and prepare it for the challenges of the Division One League.
