Absolute Accountability Is The Remedy To Systemic African Problems – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has called on African governments and all state institutions to render absolute accountability to its citizens.

He explained that this would help curb the systemic problems affecting Africans.

“Absolute accountability, not just by government but by the institutions of state in service to the people and not themselves, will go a long way to remedy many of the systemic problems that affect our African people,” Mr Mahama tweeted after a presentation at the Liberty University Convocation in the United States.

He also indicated that Africans need ethical and moral uprightness as guiding principles.

“In Africa, we need ethical and moral uprightness as guiding principles and a stoic fidelity to the truth and to do right by our people above all other considerations,” he indicated.
