A violent confrontation has taken place in Mpasaaso Number 2, located in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region, resulting in the deaths of two suspected criminals and leaving another individual in critical condition.
Although residents stated they were unaware of the cause of the fatalities, they reported awakening to find the three men on the street, with two already deceased.
During an appearance on the Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma 87.9FM in Kumasi with Sir John on Friday, November 14, 2025, the Youth Leader of Mpasaaso Number 2, Kojo Asare, mentioned that the deceased had been involved in violent activities within the community.
“We received a distress call from some neighbours who discovered the lifeless bodies, and upon getting to the scene, I saw two dead bodies with gun wounds and one other battling for his life,” he stated.
One of the deceased, known as Borga, was reportedly a leader of the group engaged in violent activities.
Asare indicated that Borga was shot by assailants, noting a gunshot wound to the head. “The deceased himself was holding a gun at the scene, but he was also butchered with his wrists cut off,” he added.
Law enforcement officials have taken control of the scene to investigate the incident.
