A/R: Toddler, 5 others hit by stray bullets
Six people, including a baby, have been injured by stray bullets in Kwabenakwa, situated in the Obuasi East District of the Ashanti Region.
This unfortunate incident occurred after a family member involved in a chieftaincy conflict reportedly discharged a firearm in celebration following a court decision that favoured his side.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect, known as Kofi Cole, gathered some relatives and took a tricycle to celebrate the verdict, during which celebratory gunfire was discharged.
Stray bullets from this shooting struck six individuals, including a toddler.

The incident which occurred on October 14, 2025, has left the local community in disbelief.
Four of the injured individuals received treatment and were subsequently discharged, while a mother and her infant were transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for additional care.
The suspect, however, is yet to be arrested.
