A devastating fire has engulfed the Adum PZ Market, situated in the heart of the Central Business District of Kumasi.
The fire which started at dawn has so far destroyed several shops and is still spreading.
The blaze ignited in the early hours of the morning on Friday, March 21, 2025, and quickly spread to neighbouring shops, resulting in considerable losses for local business owners.
The fire, which escalated swiftly, was fueled by highly flammable materials kept in many of the shops, complicating the effort of firefighters to bring the situation under control.
