Ghana Publishing company MD, David Asante, involved in accident

Managing Director of Ghana Publishing company, David Asante, has been involved in an accident in the North East region.

The accident occurred in Walewale. But details remain sketchy. The politician however survived and has reportedly been flown to Accra.

The accident Saturday becomes the third reported accident in the space of four days, involving government officials.

Only two days ago, the president’s convoy was involved in an accident on the Bolgatanga–Navrongo highway en route to the Upper East Region.

Four soldiers were injured and had to be airlifted to Accra for treatment.

On Thursday, October 8, the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku also escaped with minor injuries after his vehicle was involved in an accident on the Konongo-Ejisu Highway in the Ashanti region.

A tricycle reportedly crossed the NPP official who was returning from Koforidua where he had gone to train party activists ahead of the 2020 general elections.

He contested in the primaries to chose the party’s representative in the Nkawkaw constituency in the Eastern region.
