GFA President to receive GHS 12,000 as monthly allowance – Congress approves

The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, will be receiving an amount of GHS 12,000 as a monthly allowance.

This comes in after council members at the 26th GFA Ordinary Congress approved a proposal by the emoluments committee of the Ghana Football Association. 

The Emoluments Committee of the Ghana Football Association, headed by Hearts of Oak CEO, Frederick Moore, proposed among other things, a monthly remuneration of GH₵ 12,000 for the GFA President and GHS 7,000 for the Vice President.

Members of the GFA Executive Council are to receive GH₵4,000 monthly after congress approved the entire proposal.

The new arrangement will also see the GFA President receive GHS 1,600 as sitting allowance for EXCO meetings, with GHS 1,400 and GHS 1,300 going to the Vice President and Exco Council members, respectively.

Travel allowances

The GFA President will receive $500 per day on every international travel assignment. $400 will go to the Vice President and Executive Council members will receive $300.

For domestic travels, the GFA President will be given GH₵600 per day for accommodation and transport while GH₵500 is going to the Vice President and GH₵400 for the Executive Council members.
