Ghana records 414 new COVID-19 cases, total now 24,248
Ghana has recorded 414 new COVID-19 cases.
This brings the country’s cumulative case count to 24,248.
The latest update was captured on the Ghana Health Service’s website on Sunday, July 12.
According to the GHS, 19,831 people have either recovered or have been discharged.
The death toll stands at 135 while active cases stand at 4,282.
Per the GHS update, six persons are in critical condition, five on ventilators, and 22 others are in severe conditions.
The Greater Accra Region remains the region with the highest number of COVID-19 cases, followed by the Ashanti Region and then the Western Region.
