Ghana’s coronavirus cases now 7,768 with 2,540 recoveries
Ghana’s coronavirus cases have increased to 7,768 after the Ghana Health Service reported 152 new infections.
The Ghana Health Service, in its latest update on May 30, 2020, said 128 more have recovered from the dreaded COVID-19, bringing the number of recoveries to 2,540.
Also, 35 people have passed away.
A total of 15 regions in the country have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Almost three months after the country recorded its first coronavirus cases on March 12, the Ahafo Region now remains the only region out of the 16 regions to have a confirmed COVID-19 case.
The Greater Accra, Ashanti and Central are the top three regions in terms of case counts.
The Greater Accra has 5, 430 cases and Ashanti and Central, which have 1,183 and 405 cases, respectively.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo is set to announce the way forward with easing restrictions in the country on Sunday.
