Police hospital to conduct mass burial for all bodies in its mortuary
The Ghana Police hospital has served notice it will organize a mass burial for all bodies in its mortuary in the next two weeks.
This, according to the hospital has become necessary in order for the facility to embark on some renovation works.
A statement signed by the hospital’s Public Affairs Directorate, DSP Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, urged persons who had the bodies of their loved ones in the mortuary to come for them for burial.
“The Ghana Police Hospital requests all those who have deposited bodies of their loved ones in the Police hospital mortuary to come for them for private burials. This is to enable the necessary renovation works at the facility to be done two weeks after the press release,” the statement said.
It, however, reminded the public of the limited number of persons who are permitted to attend the private burial in line with the social distancing protocols during the coronavirus outbreak.
