A woman has tragically lost her life after being struck by a speeding vehicle while crossing the road at Kwashieman in Accra on Friday morning.
According to an eyewitness at the scene, the incident occurred when the traffic lights turned green as the woman was still in the middle of the road.
Moments later, an oncoming vehicle hit her before she could reach safety. The impact was severe, leaving bystanders in shock.
Residents and traders in the area rushed to the scene, but the woman had sustained fatal injuries.
