Rapper Medikal has opened up about his spiritual beliefs, revealing that even though he does not attend church, his relationship with God is profoundly personal and integral to his life.

Speaking in an interview, Medikal was questioned about his church attendance.

In his reply, he clarified that his spirituality does not adhere to traditional norms.

“I just pray. I don’t go to church,” he stated, further adding, “I have some reasons… I don’t joke with God.”

The rapper elaborated that his choice stems from a personal bond with God rather than from public or institutional worship. He indicated that prayer is a crucial aspect of his everyday life.

“I pray a lot. I’m very prayerful. You’ll see a Bible on my centre table when you walk into my house. It’s that personal,” he expressed on Hitz FM.

Medikal underscored that his faith serves as a source of strength and direction, particularly in managing his life and music career.

“God keeps me going. I can see it,” he concluded.
