Chelsea have reached an agreement with Moises Caicedo over a new contract with improved terms that will run until at least 2033.
The Ecuador international is set to be handed a pay rise as a reward for his impact and performances since he moved to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea signed Caicedo almost three years ago from Brighton in £115m deal.
The now 24-year-old signed an eight-year contract at the time with the option to extend it by a further year.
Caicedo’s extension has been agreed just a month after captain Reece James also signed a new contract until 2032.
The news will be a boost for Chelsea during a difficult spell when the team has been struggling on the pitch and Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
