OSP reports major recoveries in latest anti-corruption update

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has released a new update on its anti-corruption work, detailing recent convictions, ongoing prosecutions, and significant financial recoveries for the state.

In its latest OSP-X Sunday Explore report, the office revealed that 33 individuals are currently on trial in Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale for various corruption-related offences.

The update also outlined several active investigations, the recovery of billions of cedis for the state, and additional direct asset seizures.

It further included a list of wanted persons being sought for corruption offences.

The report highlighted the OSP’s Youth Against Corruption (YAC) initiative, which aims to strengthen public engagement especially among young people in the fight against corruption.

The OSP will also host the second edition of its “Evening with the OSP – Q&A Session” today at 7:00 p.m. on X Space, giving the public an opportunity to interact with officials and ask questions about ongoing cases.
