Court declares NPP loyalist Hajia Fati wanted
A controversial New Patriotic Party (NPP) loyalist, Hajia Fati, has been declared wanted by the court for failing to show up for judgment in a criminal case of assault on a journalist.
The Presiding Magistrate of the Adjabeng Magistrate court, Isaac Addo, issued a bench warrant for her arrest on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
She was last seen in court on December 4, 2019.
She is being prosecuted for punching Adom FM journalist, Charity Akosua Sakyiwaa, in May 2018 at the NPP headquarters.
The bullish-looking Hajia Fati claimed she mistook the journalist, who was taking shots, for an “onion seller.”

According to her, the reporter did not seek her permission before taking pictures of her while she threw tantrums at an NPP Vice-Chairman, Sammy Crabbe.
In a civil case at the Human Division of the Accra High Court, Justice Gifty Adjei Addo, awarded 10,000 cedis to the Adom FM reporter as damages.
The criminal case is expected to end in March 2020 when the magistrate will deliver his judgment.
