Two popular Ghanaian movies to hit Netflix

After earning several local and international award nominations, two of the most popular Ghanaian movies, Keteke and Sidechic Gang, are set to be listed on the world’s popular movie streaming site Netflix.

The multiple award-winning filmmaker and director of both movies, Peter Sedufia announced the exciting news through his social media platforms.

” In 2 days, you can check us out on Netflix at your own convenience. Home Cinema just got fun!”, he said.

 

Released on March 4, 2017, “Keteke” is a drama film, highlighting the woes of a couple who are expecting their first child but misses a train into the city for the delivery, featuring veteran actor Fred Nii Amugi, Adjetey Anang, Lydia Forson, Clemento Suarez, and other top actors.

Side chic Gang, on the other hand, was first premiered on March 3, 2018, is a comic drama movie which tells a story of three ladies who make money by exposing cheating husbands and boyfriends. It features Nana Ama McBrown, Lydia Forson, Sika Osei, Adjetey Anang, Bernard Nyarko, Eddie Kufour and Akofa Edjeani.

Both movies are set to join Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Potato Potahto as Ghanaian movies streaming on Netflix.

The movies are expected to be available for streaming from Friday, January 31, 2020.
