Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, has been vetted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament chaired by Bernard Ahiafor.
Since 2009, Ahmed has served as a Member of Parliament, representing Tain and later Banda constituencies.
He has held leadership roles such as Deputy Majority and Minority Whip.
As a Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, he is expected to promote peaceful coexistence and national development when he successfully goes through the screening process.
