Dzifa Gomashie has my full blessing – Rex Omar

Ghanaian highlife artist, Rex Omar has hailed the appointment of Dzifa Gomashie as minister-designate for Tourism and Creative Arts, saying she has his full backing to excel in the sector.

Many industry pundits tipped the musician to be appointed to head the ministry due to the role he played during Mahama’s manifesto on Creative arts but the role was swiped to Dzifa.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, the “Wodo fo ne Hwan” hitmaker indicated that Dzifa’s appointment is in the right direction and that he has no doubt she will excel.

“If you analyse the appointments of President Mahama, you realise that virtually all the appointees served as deputy ministers in the previous administration, this put them and Dzifa in a pool position to make an impact”.

” I’m not disappointed that I was not selected for the role. I was given a task to play during the campaign and it has ended. I have not called anyone to reward me for that. With the pool of experience Dzifa possesses, she has my full support to strive”.
